Our public artworks blend design and technology to create participatory experiences that deepen audience connections with a site’s historical, cultural and environmental context. Our work is known for its dynamic lighting displays that visualise data to reconnect people with the natural environment in urban spaces. For example, Grateful Fateful, Sunshine Rain in Brisbane uses light to visualise daily weather forecasts, inspiring the city’s weather-obsessed locals to pause and experience movements of air, temperature, cloud-formations and other signs that foretell of coming events. The Acacia Wall in Melbourne uses light and colour to connect audiences to seasonal botanical events by visualising dramatic changes in the the city’s seasonal palette of flowering plants.
